This involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and collaborating with production or service teams to identify and address quality issues.WHAT YOU WILL DOConduct inventory inspections to monitor and ensure traceability of plant/product movement throughout the facility.Perform or assist in quality control inspections as directed to confirm established product quality requirements have been achieved.Promptly communicate identified discrepancies to team leads and document accordingly. Investigates & participates in correction activities as directed.Accurately complete documentation & enter data to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.Maintain strict adherence to established procedures.Participate in problem solving activities to drive process improvements.Conduct visual inspections of cannabis for organic and inorganic adulterants and defects.Keep equipment (i.e., scales, tools, etc) in good, working order.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs), adhering to cGMP SOPs, and complying with legal regulationsDocument inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into quality databaseWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORHigh School Diploma or GED Required1 year experience working in a quality function preferably in pharmaceutical or food/beverage production manufacturing.Knowledgeable in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to include the application of Code of Federal RegulationsDetail OrientedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSOccasionally Twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawlThe ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Sitting or standing for extended periods is common.
