Job description
Quality TechnicianThe Quality Technician I is responsible for assisting with quality-related activities at our facilities. This role is designed to drive in-process quality within the Cultivation and Manufacturing areas. This role reports directly to the Site Quality Manager for continuous improvement.Please note: This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances. We recommend that applicants with known plant allergies or sensitivities consult with a healthcare professional before applying for this position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Responsible for ensuring cGood Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) or cGood Agricultural Practices (cGAP) Standards quality policies and procedures are adhered to according to state regulationsCollaborate with external and internal audit processesParticipate in root cause analysis for quality outagesApprove standard work for cells prior to production, including ATP swabbing100% execution of daily tasks, projects & objectivesConduct inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product qualityMaintains a culture of professionalism and serviceEnsures daily compliance with policies, including, but not limited to, state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedulesComply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure noticesInput to Lean process improvements for the Manufacturing quality programsImplementation/monitoring of sanitation practicesOversee disposal of non-conforming material (green waste)Adherence to food and allergen safety policiesQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
