Job description
Job TitleThe primary responsibility of this position is reviewing Concealed Damage Claims from various biz partners. The goal of this position is to support on-time, in-scope strategic program management and strategic planning. In order to achieve the highest performance, the person in this position is expected to maintain effective communication with key stakeholders and leaders within the division and cross-divisionally where applicable. Also, the person in this position requires an attention to details and an excellent communication skill with capability of storytelling visually.ResponsibilitiesInvestigation: Review claim forms, bills of lading, and inspection reports to determine if damage occurred while in the care of the carrier.Documentation Review: Analyze photos, verify the validity of the claimPerform key program/project management, from planning to project deliverable developmentsCollaborate with key department leaders to develop short to mid-term planningCommunicate to leadership on program/project progress and escalation/decision pointsDevelop content for executive-level presentations and reports to communicate and achieve buy-in for recommendationsDevelop content for and coordinate executive workshops and working sessionsEducation and Years of ExperienceAssociate degree or higher (bachelors degree preferred not required)0-2 years of experience from strategy/management consulting firm or within a strategic planning/corporate developmentBackground/ExperiencePreferred Education - Bachelor's Degree is a plus but not required (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience from strategy/management consulting firm or within a strategic planning/corporate development function in a global organizationExperience communicating with mid-level to top-level leaders (status reports, presentations, in-person meetings)Working knowledge of Project Management Fundamentals, Documentation practices, and systemsExperience working in a global organization is a plusTop SkillsAnalytical Skills / Communication / results-oriented/punctual/EXCEL proficientNecessary SkillsAnalytical Skills: Ability to evaluate complex, sometimes contradictory evidence to determine the true cause of lossAttention to Detail: Meticulous review of documents to identify discrepancies in concealed damage cases.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of product damage evaluation.Communication & Negotiation: Strong written and verbal skills for communicating with claimants and negotiating settlements.Experience: Prefers 2+ years of claims handling or industry experience but not requiredClient service driven with excellent relationship management skillsAbility to effectively engage with and facilitate collaboration with diverse groups/stakeholdersTeam oriented, but able to work independently and manage multiple tasksSelf-directed, self-motivated and results-orientedKorean Bi-lingual is a plusPay TransparencyThe typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $29.92 - $29.92/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
