Quality TechnicianPrintpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill entry-level manufacturing production hourly positions in the Rhinelander, WI plant. These positions have the potential for rapid advancement and include a full benefits package. Currently offering retention bonuses as well, apply and find out more!The Quality Technician position provides a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience working with a skilled workforce all while improving technical & mechanical skills. The Quality Technician position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.As a Quality Technician, you will:Understand appropriate test method and equipment to perform all required testing (and sampling) as specified by internal and external customersPerform check-out of each job in Press and Laminating to include specifications, film types, job jacket, etc.Perform visual check on all samples representing material produced on shiftAccurately entering data into PRISM for retention and reportingPerform accurate calibration checks of all equipmentResponsible for creating hold tags for defective material and ensuring rolls are tagged for proper identificationDaily use of the X-rite software and spectrophotometerMaintain department 5S standards including housekeeping and stocking suppliesDaily filing of job jacketsFire Crew responsibilities include closing fire doorsBeing well versed in customer specifications and knowing how to identify structures for comparison to the proper specEffective communication of results to the Laminating and Press Operators as well as Department LeadsUse of PRISM screens to obtain job/production informationThis position is Monday - Friday 2pm to 10pm shift.Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
