CompoSecure Quality Control SpecialistAt CompoSecure, we are redefining the future of payment card technology. We're looking for talented individuals who share our passion for excellence and innovation.Position Overview:This position is required to support the company's objectives for product quality through control of in-coming materials, first articles inspections, spot product audits and any final inspection/certificates of conformance and reporting of any identified production monitoring data. In addition, this position is required to support the company's objective to maintain ISO 9001 certification through timely quality audits according to the ISO 9001 audit schedule.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-coming material and sub-contracted processes output inspection to set material specifications and recording of in-coming results in Visual Quality moduleConduct first articles for each customer order, working as a team with production employees and shift supervisors to ensure optimal product quality through each order. Immediately report any out of specification conditions to the operator, shift supervisors and Quality Manager. Complete all necessary first article paperwork as requiredConduct spot product audits in collaboration with the shift supervisor and operators to monitor product quality of product being manufactured. Immediately report any out of specification conditions to the operator, shift supervisor and Quality Manager. Complete internal non-conformity documentation on any out of specification situation observedConduct quality audits according to the ISO 9001 audit schedule. Complete internal non-conformity documentation on any findings observedPrepare reporting for the identified CTQ (Critical to Quality) attributes for each product groupPrepare any and all Certificates of Conformance on outgoing product, as requiredOther Important Responsibilities:Work in collaboration with shift supervisors and production leads in decisions involving product quality, quality hold or quality stoppageConduct material or product testing according to the direction of R&D, shift supervisors or Quality ManagerSummarize test results and deliver to requesting partyEngage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness programsWill be required to perform other job functions, as assignedQualifications:A minimum 1 to 3 years (or more) of relevant experienceHigh School Education a must, Bachelor's Degree in any engineering, science or mathematics discipline a plusExcellent verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent mathematical skillsAbility to use, understand or interpret measurement devicesTask oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work loadEnthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, sensitive to client needs, self-motivated, creative and innovativeHigh level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and OutlookPhysical requirements and work environment:Must be able to lift 20 lbsMust be able to sustain office work for 8+ hours per day including the following: Sitting in an office chair, Typing, Reaching for the telephone, Standing at office equipment, Hearing for phone use, Sight for computer useMust be able to sustain factory work for 8+ hours including the following: Standing at machinery, Repetitive measuring, Reaching and pulling, Sight for measurement device reading, Walking through shopShop noise levels are such that protective ear-coverings are recommendedCompoSecure offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are shaping the future of financial technology.Pay Range$19.38 - $31.01 HourlyOffers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.Incentive Compensation This role may be eligible to participate in our annual or quarterly incentive plan.
