Join us in the journey!We are actively seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join and grow in the PPG organization. The Quality Technician will provide support to the quality management team and ensure aerospace manufactured parts comply with strict regulatory, customer, and AS9100 quality standards by creating, preparing, updating, and organizing documentation and equipment related to the organization's quality management system (QMS). This role will require the use of mechanical inspection tools, the ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as expert attention to detail to ensure compliance, standardization, and accuracy.Highlights and BenefitsQuarterly profit-sharing bonus; eligible upon hirePaid time off401(k) with company matchPaid holidaysTuition / professional development reimbursementHealth, dental, and vision insuranceOptional HSA with company contributionShort-term disability, long term disability, and life insurance at no costLimitless opportunity for advancementRequirementsPrepare appropriate documentation by compiling technical data related to all job ordersReview and update all required quality documents to ensure the latest revisions are being followedRead and interpret blueprints as requiredReview certificates of conformity for accuracyReview purchase orders to confirm / verify required certs, specifications, and shipping instructions / requirementsAssist with corrective actions and non-conformance responsesEnsure product compliance with customer, regulatory, and applicable industry standards per AS9100Visually inspect parts as requiredPerform part inspection utilizing mechanical inspection tools as requiredEffectively communicate with department manager and other staff regarding all quality related documentationPerform and support QC Dept with other work-related duties as assigned (i.e. Bluelight inspection)Operate and set up to run CMMs (such as Zeiss and LK) using software like Calypso and CamioMaintain accurate records of inspection results and generate detailed inspection reportsMaintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration standards are upheldKnowledge, skills, and abilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree in manufacturing technology or metrology is a plus.Demonstrated reliability and work ethicAbility to use mechanical inspection tools, or the willingness to learnAbility and familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Princeton Precision Group abides by applicable export control laws including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in accordance with the company's export control procedures. Most positions require access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information. As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a "U.S. Person" under relevant regulations.
