Job description

Quantitative Developer, Fund Reporting & Analytics

We are seeking a hands-on quantitative developer to build and own core components of our internal fund reporting and underwriting platform for private funds. The role works directly with senior investment staff. It covers data integration, fund accounting calculations, performance measurement and investor reporting, financial modeling, financial and operational risk, and replaces legacy systems and spreadsheet processes with tested, auditable software.

Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain data pipelines from NetSuite (SuiteQL/REST) and other sources

Implement fund-level calculations: units register, NAV per unit, capital calls, distributions, management and incentive fees, redemptions and transfers.

Implement performance measurement: time-weighted and money-weighted returns (gross and net), benchmark comparisons, and attribution.

Build reporting for covenant compliance, indebtedness schedules, disposition analysis and investor reporting.

Reconcile new calculations against historical workbooks and legacy system output, and document and resolve differences.

Build controls for an SEC-regulated environment: test coverage, audit trails, versioned calculations, and reproducible as-of reporting.

Build financial models for investments and complex transactions

Turn specs from investment staff into production features, working effectively with AI coding tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.

3+ years building production data or financial software in Python, with strong SQL.

Working knowledge of fund accounting and performance math: IRR/XIRR, TWR, NAV, unitization, fee and waterfall mechanics.

Experience integrating with ERP or accounting systems; NetSuite strongly preferred. xzgxqkn

Experience with AWS

Disciplined about testing, reconciliation and documentation; comfortable being the person who explains why a number is what it is.

Pluses: private real assets or real estate fund experience, GIPS familiarity, Excel model translation, and prior use of Claude Code or similar tools.
