Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoPerform various cleaning, monitoring and securing operations to assist in the set-up of a rotary atomization furnace.Load charge into crucible making sure amount, type and elements match specifications.Work from verbal and written instructions to perform repetitive tasks before and after a pour and when required during the atomization process.Assist in preparing raw material charges, running the furnace control board, making minor repairs on the furnace, atomization chamber, and other auxiliary equipment, cleaning the atomization chamber, carry out housekeeping duties.Assist in the removal and replacement of coils and cleaning the interior of the furnace chamber.Clean raw material charge and transport to charge area. As directed assist in the attachment and detachment of gas, electric, and water lines to furnace. Clean inside of crucibles, patch cracks and performs other repair tasks of crucible prior to next run.May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skillsSupport the cell's continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipmentRefer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 6:00am - 4:00pm (6th shift).Qualifications You Must Have:HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)Learn More and Apply Now:Must have a good attendance recordMust have strong communication skillsMust be able to work from heights – up to 60'Must be able to wear a respiratorMust have strong mechanical aptitudeThe position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.What We OfferMedical, dental, vision benefitsLife, short term disability, long term disability benefitsPaid time off including vacation, sick leave, holidays401-K with company matchOther innovative benefits including deals and discounts
