Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Certificate completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional equipment and supplies. Knowledge and competency in moderate sedation administration and policy protocol. Knowledge of EP concepts, theory, and the fluoroscopic anatomy and physiology involved in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures. Ability to recognize and assist in treatment of complications arising from cardiac/vascular/EP diagnostic and interventional procedures. Ability to set up a sterile table with procedure-specific supplies; knowledge of correct patient preparation and draping. Knowledge and ability to properly connect to appropriate physiologic monitoring equipment. Knowledge of radiation safety and appropriate use and function of imaging equipment. Advanced knowledge of EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition, analysis, and interpretation. Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation specific to device implantation and function. Knowledge and recognition of invasive cardiology routines. Proficient in set-up of all procedures.
Required Credentials: Associates Degree in Related Field or Certificate of completion for Radiology Program. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Unit Details: Assists cardiologists with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiologic procedures. Provides technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation in the Cath Lab. Uses electrical/imaging equipment, defibrillators, computers, and digital image archiving/retrieval systems. Provides patient care during coronary invasive procedures and assists with sterile field preparation and passing guidewires, catheters, and other devices using aseptic technique.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation. Holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
