Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams for patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The Rad Tech will obtain high-quality radiographic images, follow physician orders, verify patient identity, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, applying radiation safety protocols, and assisting during emergency and portable exams. The role also includes documenting in the EMR, maintaining equipment and supplies, collaborating with nurses and providers, and supporting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the health system.
