Radiation Oncology Position
Close to Columbus
Adena Cancer Center is seeking a Full-time Radiation Oncologist to join a collaborative, patient-centered oncology program in Chillicothe, Ohio. Our center treats a broad spectrum of malignancies in a multidisciplinary environment, supported by modern technology and a highly experienced clinical team.
Radiation therapy is delivered on two recently upgraded Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, allowing for advanced techniques and efficient workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a high-quality clinical practice with strong support, modern infrastructure, and work-life balance.
Position Highlights
4.5-day clinical workweek

Practice Details
Approximately 40–50 total treatment volumes per day
Physicians average 14–18 patients per clinic day
Two matched Varian TrueBeamlinear accelerators
SGRT using Varian Identify and BrainLab Dynamic Exactrac
DIBH and respiratory gated radiotherapy
Eclipse treatment planning with Radformation Autocontour and EzFluence
Integrated EPIC and Aria EMRs
High-volume disease sites include lung, breast, prostate, and head & neck
Clinical trial participationthrough NCORP
Commission on Cancer–accreditedprogram
Join a collegial and well-resourced team including:
2 Radiation Oncologists
Radiation Nurse Practitioner
Dedicated Dosimetrists and Medical Physicists
5 Medical Oncologists
Robust ancillary support: nurse navigation, social work, dietary services, financial counseling, and on-site chaplain
