Radiation Therapist

nThe Radiation Therapist applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for helping in the efficient operation of the radiation department and ensuring safe patient care.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnCurrent Licensure as a Radiation Therapist, as required bystate regulations or contract specification
n
nnOne (1) year of experience as a Radiation Therapistpreferred
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
