Sentara is hiring a Radiation Therapists I for Norfolk General Hospital, in Norfolk, Virginia.

Shift: Full time, first shift.
Overview
Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
Education
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure
- ARRT Certification PREFERRED
- All new graduates will remain Radiation Therapist I for the first 2 years of employment and are required to pass boards within 6 months of hire.
- Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of Associates degree will also be considered.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.05 - $65.34 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
