This role plays a vital part in our commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.In This Role, You Will:Administer radiation to specific body parts as prescribed by the Radiation OncologistEnsure proper patient positioning to guarantee accurate treatment deliveryFollow all principles of radiation protection for patient, staff, and selfReview and verify patient charts for accuracy and completenessPrepare and perform daily quality assurance tests on radiation machinesFabricate and use immobilization devices as neededCounsel patients and monitor side effects, ensuring safety throughout treatmentWe RequireFlexibility to travel to various locationsValid NY State License in Radiation TherapyRegistered with ASRT and ARRTAvailability for full-time training (5 days/week) for the first 3 weeksNew grads welcomeWhat We Offer:Salary: Starting at $52/hr based on experienceJoin us at NYCBS, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.Visit our website at: Nycancer.comFollow us on Facebook: NYCBS on Facebook*New York Cancer and Blood Specialists is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
