About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of Work
Under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, the Radiation Therapist uses clinical skills to accurately run CT simulators, deliver, verify, and record routine courses of treatment. The role includes shift accountability, including machine warm‑ups, and utilizes independent judgment and problem‑solving skills in communicating with patients/families and employees.
Shift: Day (United States of America)
Weekly Scheduled Hours: 32
Hours of Work: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Days Worked: Monday to Friday (Variable)
Qualifications
Required vocational/technical background; graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field preferred
CRT-Radiation Therapist – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 60 days required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross required within first 90 days
