Job description

Deliver patient-centered radiation therapy services within a dynamic clinical environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatments. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced radiation therapist who is passionate about oncology care and skilled in all aspects of radiation therapy.

Key Qualifications:

Valid and current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)

Proven experience operating linear accelerators and simulation equipment

Thorough understanding of radiation safety procedures and quality assurance protocols

Strong communication and patient-care skills

Ability to accurately interpret and execute physician treatment plans

Commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory standards

CPR/BLS certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients as directed by clinical protocols and physician instructions

Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for daily procedures

Monitor patient responses and document treatment details in electronic medical records

Provide education, support, and reassurance to patients and their families throughout the treatment process

Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to optimize treatment planning and delivery

Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines

Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives as needed

$2,926 - $3,095/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
