Job description
Job Summary
Administers prescribed dose of ionizing radiation according to physicians written prescription and established departmental policy and procedures.
Performs adjuvant procedures which aid in the management of patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Therapy Program or equivalent educ/experience
Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year experience
Skills and Certifications (note: bold skills and certification are required)
Coursework/Training: Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Therapy Program
Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
