Job description
Join a fast-paced team at an area hospital where your expertise as a Radiation Therapist will directly impact lives. From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you'll play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion-right when they need it most.
What You'll Need:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
• BLS certification
• ARRT(T) -- RT(T) or higher
• Experience performing CT simulations
• Proficiency with Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator and Mosaiq R&V system
• Knowledge of 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT treatment delivery
Assignment Details
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
EMR: EPIC.
Patient volume: approximately 25-35 patients daily.
Equipment: single Elekta linear accelerator.
Scrub color: Black.

Joplin, Missouri offers quick access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions. Route 66 history is visible at the Route 66 Mural Park and along historic downtown, while George A. Spiva Center for the Arts and the Cornell Complex add arts and local events near the urban core. For weekend travel, Tulsa is about 2 hours west and Springfield is about 1.5 hours northeast, giving travelers access to larger metro amenities while staying in a smaller hospital-market setting.
