Radiator Assembly TechnicianLocation: Waterloo, IA Pay: $19.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Type: Long-Term OpportunityPosition OverviewExpress Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Radiator Assembly Technician to join a local manufacturing team. This position will be responsible for assembling large radiators used in powerful generators. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand tools, and able to safely work with large components and lifting equipment.Key Responsibilities:Assemble large radiators used in generator systemsPick and organize necessary assembly components, including nuts, bolts, and other hardwareUse hand tools and large breaker bar-style torque wrenches to complete assembliesOperate a 6-ton overhead hoist to safely move and position large componentsFollow assembly instructions and specificationsInspect parts and completed assemblies for accuracy and qualityMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience using hand tools requiredHoist or lift experience is a plusForklift certification preferred but not requiredMechanically inclined and comfortable working with large equipment and componentsStrong attention to detailDependable and safety-consciousAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and move throughout the workdayAbility to use hand tools and torque wrenches throughout the shiftAbility to bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasksComfortable working around large parts, overhead hoists, and manufacturing equipmentAdditional Information:Long-term employment opportunityMonday-Friday daytime scheduleGreat 401(k) opportunities availableForklift certification is preferred but not required
