Radiologist w/ Breast Imaging Focus
Position Overview
A healthcare system in Altoona, Pennsylvania is seeking a Radiologist to join a well-established and high-quality clinical team. This role is open to either:
A general radiologist with an interest in dedicating approximately 50% of their practice to breast imaging, or
A fellowship-trained breast imaging specialist
This position offers a strong work-life balance with a flexible schedule and no evening or weekend responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies
Perform and/or interpret breast imaging studies (mammography, ultrasound, MRI as applicable)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
Maintain high standards of clinical accuracy and patient safety
Qualifications MD or equivalent medical degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
MSQUA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) certification required
