Breast Imaging Radiologist - Altoona, PennsylvaniaClinical OpportunityA world-class, physician-led health system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a large, well-supported radiology department in Altoona , Pennsylvania.
This opportunity is ideal for:
Fellowship-trained breast imagers or
General radiologists interested in 50% breast imaging
Both full-time and part-time options are available.

Call schedule: 1:3 or 1:4
Academic appointment available (optional)
Visa sponsorship available (J-1 and H-1B)
MSQUA certification required
Radiology DepartmentTeam of 17 radiologists , including:
8 Neuroradiology / MSK / Body Imaging
2 Breast Imagers (part-time)
4 Interventional Radiologists
2 Nuclear Medicine / PET Radiologists
Supported by physician extenders and experienced nursing staff
Part of one of the largest academic radiology departments in the U.S. , with:
170+ radiologists
42 research faculty
66 residents and fellows
Technology & SystemsPACS: McKesson (transitioning to Philips iSite)
Dictation: PowerScribe
EMR: Cerner (inpatient), Epic (outpatient)
Employed by a large, integrated regional health system
Part of a 40+ hospital network
400-bed regional tertiary care hospital
Joint Commission-certified thrombectomy-capable stroke center
