Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift: 09:30 - 18:00
Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
License: New York license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required
Description:
Full-time Interventional Radiologic Technologist position available.
Neuro and vascular experience preferred.
Cath Lab experience is not needed.
Shifts can be either 5x8 hours or 4x10 hours.
Working hours include 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
Flexibility for agency shifts is required.
There is a requirement for weekday on-call shifts once per week.
On-call shifts start at 5:30 PM or 6 PM and run until 7 AM the following morning, Monday through Thursday.
Rotating weekend on-call coverage is also required.
Weekend call begins Friday at 5:30 PM or 6 PM and continues through Monday morning at 7 AM.
The facility is a tertiary care hospital with a total of 528 staffed beds.
Charting is done through an EPIC system.
The department specializes in three service lines: vascular, interventional radiology, and neuro.
Candidates should possess skills in various interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, and stent placement.
Candidates will be required to float among different areas of the unit.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with a daily census of approximately 528.
Candidates with cardiac imaging experience are not needed.
Candidates must be prepared for on-call responsibilities, including weekday and weekend shifts.
Prior charge experience is a bonus but not mandatory.
