Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 6:30 14:30
Description: Days, 8-hour shift, 0630am-9am start time varies off volume and machine schedule. Radiology / Cardiology / Radiation Therapist
Position Summary
We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide safe and accurate radiation treatments to patients undergoing cancer therapy. The therapist will operate radiation equipment, position patients, deliver prescribed treatments, monitor patients, and collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Review treatment plans and prepare patients for radiation therapy.
Position and immobilize patients accurately for treatment.
Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
Deliver prescribed radiation treatments according to approved treatment plans.
Monitor patients during treatment and report changes or concerns.
Perform imaging and verification procedures as required.
Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, and quality standards.
Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
Educate and support patients throughout their treatment.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy or equivalent, as applicable.
Current state license or registration, where required.
Previous radiation therapy experience preferred.Strong technical, communication, patient-care, and attention-to-detail skills.
