Radiology - Cath Lab Tech

Shift: 9H Days 4 x 9's with Call
Hours per Shift: 9 hours
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
License: Active Illinois license required or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
Certifications: BLS (AHA) required
Must-Have: Recent experience with heart caths and peripheral caths. Preferred experience with specific equipment.
Description:The Cath Lab Technologist will work in a dynamic environment with two labs and one hybrid room.Responsible for the care of patients undergoing procedures such as STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke interventions, and more.Average case load is five cases per day.Must be proficient in using electronic medical records and monitoring equipment.Be prepared to take on assignments as a Charge Nurse when necessary.Will participate in on-call rotation two to three nights per week and every third weekend.On-call duties include two to three holidays per year.Client scrubs will be provided for all staff.Comprehensive orientation is available for unit-specific processes and protocols.Collaboration and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
