Job Description
- Position : Travel Radiation Therapist
- Duration : 12 Weeks
- Shift : 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Unit Profile
- Location : Kansas City, MO
- Unit Name : Radiation Oncology
- Number of Beds : 490
- Staffing :
- 4 Radiation Therapists (RTTs)
- 2 Radiation Oncology Registered Nurses (RNs)

- Truebeam Linac
- iX
Documentation Systems
- Mosaiq
- Meditech
Scheduling Requirements
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts only
Professional Skills Required
- 4+ years of Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience with Truebeam preferred
- Familiarity with OSMS preferred
Key Procedures Performed
- VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy)
- 3D Treatments
- SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery)
- SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
- Emergency treatments for conditions such as:
- SVC Syndrome
- Heterotopic Bone
- Whole Brain Treatment
- Spinal Cord Compression
Certifications Required
- ARRT Board Certified
- BCLS Certified
Dress Code
- Grey or charcoal grey scrubs
