Job description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Summary: Join a dynamic team at a leading healthcare facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist for locum IR coverage. The position offers an 8-hour workday from 8 AM to 4 PM, including evening call from 4 PM to 8 AM, and 24-hour weekend call. This role is ideal for candidates with strong interventional capabilities, particularly in stroke procedures, though not mandatory. Experience with a broad range of interventions is essential.
Job Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic vascular interventions including angiography (venous and arterial).
Conduct therapeutic vascular interventions such as angioplasty and stenting.
Administer thrombolytic and embolization therapies.
Execute various interventional procedures, including central lines, port-a-cath insertions, and biopsies.
Handle pain management procedures and various drainage techniques.
Respond to emergency call-backs as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using EMR (Epic).
Qualifications: Board Certified in Radiology.
Active North Dakota medical license or IMLC.
Completion of an Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Experience with all required procedures, detailed in the application.
Clean malpractice history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements: North Dakota medical license Required.
