The facility utilizes Epic EMR and provides strong support for locum providers, with lodging assistance available in accordance with MSA guidelines.

Board Certified - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
Provide locum interventional radiology (IR) coverage with general IR experience required
Stroke capability (neuro head stroke thrombectomy) is a required skill
Schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts (generally 8am-4pm), evening call (4pm-8am), and 24-hour call on weekends
Average of 10-15 procedures performed during the 8-hour on-site day shift
Call back expected primarily for emergencies during weekday and weekend call shifts
Required to perform diagnostic vascular intervention including venous and arterial angiography
Required to perform therapeutic vascular intervention including angioplasty (venous and arterial)
Required to perform stenting (venous and arterial) and thrombolytic therapy
Required to perform embolization therapy and interventional body (non-neuro) procedures
Required to perform vascular access procedures including PICC lines, central lines, and port-a-cath insertions
Required to perform IVC filter placements and TIPS procedures
Required to perform aspiration and drainage procedures including abscess drainage, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
Required to perform percutaneous needle biopsies (above and below diaphragm, and bone)
Required to perform extractions including biliary and renal
Required to perform myelography and pain management procedures
Required to perform percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram and blood patch procedures
Required to perform joint and epidural injections, vertebroplasty, and arthrograms
Required to perform chest tube insertion and uterine artery embolization
Required to perform liver Y90/TACE and gastrostomy tube insertion
Required to perform nephrostomy and ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, and cryoablation
EMR system: Epic
Active North Dakota license or IMLC (letter of qualification in hand at time of submission) required
Board certification required
IR residency or fellowship required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Orientation must be completed the day before the first confirmed shift (8am-3pm)
Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days and ND licensure and credentialing paperwork must be completed prior to start
Air travel accepted for traveling providers
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
