Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Interventional Radiology Join a dynamic team at a leading hospital in Lansing, Michigan, seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to provide hospital-based interventional radiology services. This position operates on a day-shift schedule and includes Q3 call coverage. Ideal candidates are those capable of providing consistent coverage, with particular needs for the months of November and December.
Key Responsibilities: Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE).
Participate in a call rotation providing Q3 call coverage.
Work alongside a supportive team of two APPs and two other interventional radiologists.
Maintain high standards of patient care for primarily adult patients, including geriatric demographics.
Document cases accurately according to facility protocols.
Qualifications: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (Required).
Active Michigan Medical License (Required); IMLC or compact license not accepted.
BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required).
Ability to commit to 2+ weeks of coverage per month (Required).
Preferred: Clean malpractice & license history; NPDB self-query (within 30 days).
License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification in Interventional Radiology: Required
Active State Medical License (Michigan): Required
BLS and ACLS certifications: Required
