Job description
Locums Interventional Radiology Physician in Moreno Valley, California - Level I Trauma, Monthly Blocks
Bring your core IR skill set to a Level I trauma program with resident support, defined monthly coverage blocks, and a broad procedural mix.
Highlights
One week per month
Two physician openings
IR nurse, technologist, and resident support
Long-term coverage opportunity
Practice & Cases
Approximately 10 to 16 cases per day
Bleeding embolizations and nephrostomy tubes
Biopsies, drainages, and dialysis catheters
Occasional pulmonary embolism thrombectomy
Schedule
Weeklong coverage blocks
Daytime procedural coverage with trauma call
Call-ins average approximately once per week
Daytime-only weeks may be considered when call is otherwise covered
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
Active California medical license required
California fluoroscopy certification required
Logistics
Airfare and lodging are covered
Rental car and mileage are covered
