This is a strong hospital-based interventional radiology environment that supports active inpatient consult services and robust procedural programs. The facility offers comprehensive IR services including oncology support, vascular procedures, and a broad range of image-guided procedures in a well-established healthcare setting.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Interventional Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
Onsite Interventional Radiology coverage required 7 days per week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
IR call coverage required Monday through Sunday
Holiday coverage required when available
Board Certified physicians only
Minimum productivity expectation of 45 RVUs per shift
Utilizes RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0
Drainage procedures including abscess drainage, thoracentesis, and paracentesis (high volume)
Biopsy procedures including soft tissue, lymph node, bone, liver, and lung (high volume)
Vascular procedures including PICC, tunneled lines, and central access
Biliary procedures including drain placement and cholangiography
Peripheral vascular procedures including angiography and embolization
Oncology support including image-guided biopsy and access procedures
Active inpatient consult services
Procedural support for oncology programs
Broad image-guided biopsy volume on a consistent basis
Drainage and access procedures performed on a consistent basis
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
