Physicians in Practice: 5 IR
Support Staffs: RNs and Radiology Techs
Available Supplies: Stryker neuro coils, and both Stryker and Medtronic Flow-diverters, Abbott and Cordis Carotid stents
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Carotid Stent
Endovascular Coiling
Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC in Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, or Neurology
Licenses: Active Michigan license
DEA: Active DEA certification
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Other Qualifications: Neuro IR fellowship
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 call coverage for neuro interventional radiology
Perform neuro IR procedures including carotid stenting, endovascular coiling, and EVAR
Interpret diagnostic neuroradiology studies
Collaborate with IR physicians and support staff in a Level 2 trauma center
Adhere to credentialing and compliance requirements
