Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging support to Radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The Technologist will also be responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
Responsibilities
Provide quality imaging as part of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
Support Radiologists in various imaging techniques and procedures.
Process and transmit images to PACS.
Maintain knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards in nuclear medicine.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Minimum of one year of acute clinical radiology experience.
At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
Current BCLS certification.
Needs CT/Fusion Certification.
Proficient computer skills.
