Locums Diagnostic Radiology Physician in North Carolina - No Call, Weekdays Only
This Diagnostic Radiology assignment offers a weekday-only schedule focused on diagnostic reads with light IR coverage in a hospital-based setting. The structure is designed for physicians seeking steady ongoing work without call or weekend responsibilities.
Highlights:
No call or weekend coverage
Diagnostic Radiology with light IR responsibilities
Open to rotating block coverage models
Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
Practice & Cases:
Inpatient hospital-based Radiology coverage
Light IR procedures including lumbar punctures and paracentesis
Diagnostic reads include CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and X-ray
Non-trauma center with full hospital support staff
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8a-5p
Ongoing long-term locums need
Open to multiple physicians sharing coverage
One week per month coverage structure available
Requirements:
Must be an MD or DO
Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
Active North Carolina license required
BLS certification required
