Job description
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Radiology in Titusville, FL Join a dynamic healthcare team at a well-established medical center in Titusville, Florida. The facility offers onsite coverage and utilizes state-of-the-art technology, providing a supportive environment for its medical staff. The Radiologist will work primarily Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, catering to a diverse range of imaging modalities, including XR, CT, MR, US, and Fluoroscopy.
Job Responsibilities: Provide onsite radiology coverage, performing various imaging procedures.
Conduct mammography procedures, including needle biopsies and stereotactic breast biopsies.
Interpret general radiology studies and light interventional radiology procedures, including paracentesis and thoracentesis.
Complete daily volume expectations of 90-100 cases within an 8-hour shift.
Utilize EMR system (EPIC) and PACS system (Merge) for patient documentation.
Engage in light interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies and lumbar punctures.
Qualifications: Board Certified in Radiology.
Active Florida medical license.
Current DEA Registration.
A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days is mandatory at the time of offer.
License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification - Required.
Active Florida License - Required.
DEA Registration - Required.
