Job description
Chief Radiologist Äì Westminster, MD Seeking a Chief Radiologist faculty member for its Department of Radiology. The Department provides a full spectrum of specialized services using AI-enabled diagnostics and state-of-the-art imaging equipment, supporting Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, Critical Care, and more. The ideal candidate is comfortable providing diagnostic and interventional services and brings committee/divisional oversight or leadership experience. Is a 162-bed nonprofit medical center, serving Carroll County for over five decades, with specialties including minimally invasive surgery and a state-of-the-art cancer center. Position Details Mix of Interventional Radiology (IR) & Diagnostic Radiology (DR) , or strictly IR if preferred
Procedures: biopsies, drainages, venous access, embolization, nephrostomy
IR call: 1 week in 5 covering three hospitals (light volume, negotiable)
No clinic responsibilities required
Required Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school
ABR/AOBR certification
Completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
Ability to obtain unrestricted state medical license and DEA license
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications Subspecialty training and CAQ in Interventional Radiology
Prior leadership experience
