Chief of Radiology Opportunity in Westminster, MD Position DetailsSpecialty: Radiology - Chief of Radiology Schedule: Full-time, hours vary Practice Setting: Hospital-employed, leadership role Responsibilities: - Provide both diagnostic and interventional radiology services - Procedures may include biopsies, drainages, venous access, embolization, nephrostomy - Oversight and leadership of the radiology department - Committee and divisional participation as needed - IR call rotation: 1 week in 5 covering three hospitals (negotiable) Candidate RequirementsMD or DO from an accredited medical school ABR/AOBR certification Successful completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency Ability to obtain unrestricted Maryland Medical License and DEA Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred: Subspecialty training/CAQ in Interventional Radiology Prior leadership experience preferred Support & TeamCollaborative, multi-disciplinary hospital environment Access to advanced imaging technology, AI-enabled diagnostics Comprehensive departmental support across emergency, oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, vascular surgery, neurology, OB/GYN, and critical care Compensation & BenefitsTotal compensation: $750K+ (base salary, RVU earnings, chief stipend) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) 403(b) retirement plan & 457(b) deferred compensation plan $5k CME allowance Generous PTO plan with flexible schedule Professional society dues coverage Malpractice coverage with tail PSLF applicable Community InformationWestminster, MD is a picturesque Baltimore suburb in Carroll County: Rich history and family-friendly communities Proximity to Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Gettysburg, PA Access to outdoor recreation, cultural activities, and quality schools Permanent Placement SummarySpecialty: Radiology - Chief of Radiology Location: Westminster, MD Practice Type: Hospital-employed leadership role Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours Salary: $750K+ (inclusive of base, RVU, and chief stipend) License: Maryland Medical License required Benefits: Full benefits, retirement plans, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, PTO
