Locums Diagnostic Radiology Windber, PA (active PA license required) Why This Role Monday ÄìFriday daytime schedule
No call or weekend coverage
Broad diagnostic imaging and light IR case mix
Onsite position with established imaging systems
Consistent eight-hour shifts
Assignment Details Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, 8am Äì5pm
Setting: Onsite
No call
No weekend coverage
Expected volume: Approximately 90 Äì100 studies per eight-hour shift
Expected productivity: Approximately 60 Äì70 wRVUs per eight-hour shift
EMR: Epic
PACS: Merge
Dictation: Fluency
Requirements Board-certified Radiologist
Active Pennsylvania medical license
Active DEA registration
Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days required at the time of offer
Comfortable performing diagnostic imaging and light interventional procedures
Clinical Details Modalities:
- X-ray - CT - MRI - Ultrasound - Nuclear medicine - FluoroscopyCase mix includes emergency, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatric, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic mammography
Light interventional procedures include:
- Thyroid, bone, lung, liver, and renal biopsies - CT- and ultrasound-guided procedures - Paracentesis and thoracentesis - Abscess and cyst drainage - Chest tube placement - Lumbar punctures and myelograms - Epidurals and arthrograms - Knee, elbow, hip, ankle, and shoulder injections
