Job description
A community-focused healthcare organization in northern New Hampshire, located southeast from Burlington, Vermont, is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist with supervisory experience to oversee the clinical, operational, and financial performance of its Imaging Department within a Critical Access Hospital setting as Director.
Position Highlights:
Lead daily operations of the Radiology Department, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
Oversee strategic planning, quality improvement, and service line development
Manage departmental budgets, capital planning, and equipment contracts
Drive performance through productivity, financial, and quality metrics
Ensure compliance with CMS, state, federal, and accreditation standards
Partner with physicians, leadership, and clinical teams to optimize imaging services
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development for radiology staff
Foster a culture of patient-centered care, accountability, and continuous improvement
Strengthen relationships with providers and community partners
Support long-term growth and expansion of imaging services
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Radiology required
ARRT certification required
Experience in radiology or imaging department leadership required
5+ years of radiology experience preferred
3+ years of supervisory experience preferred
