Job description

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >25 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Strong OR and fluoro experience preferred.
Unit Details: Performs orthopedic, chest, angiography, portable imaging in the ICU and on the floor, fluoroscopy cases, swallow studies, IVPs, and HSTs. Equipment includes Philips x-ray units and 5 Fuji portable units. Uses Fuji Synapse, PACS, and Fuji RIS PACS. The department averages 110 scans/studies per 24 hours. 2 radiologists are in-house 8-5 Monday-Friday; after hours, they are on call for reading until midnight, then reads are sent to night-shift radiology.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift may be 8s or 10s. Shifts have varied, staggered start times. Clinicians are expected to be in the area and ready to go by 7. Schedule flexibility is key. Weekend work is usually scheduled or assigned on rotation. Holiday coverage is usually scheduled to cover permanent staff. No call.
Floating Requirements: Will cover outpatient, inpatient, and ER areas.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
