Job Title: Radiology TechUnit: Medical ImagingShift: Full-Time(Mon, Tues, Fri 830a-9p)Facility: Atrium Medical Center General Summary/Responsibilities:Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrastmedia. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration ofmedications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the RadiologyDepartment. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in goodworking condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have oncall responsibilities.EducationMinimum Level of Education Required: Associate degreeAdditional requirements: Type of degree: Allied Health Area of study or major: Radiologic Technology Preferred educational qualifications: N/A Position specific testing requirement: N/ALicensure/Certification/Registration CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire ARRT RT (R) registry required ODH licensure requiredExperienceMinimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experiencePrior job title or occupational experience: N/APrior specific functional responsibilities: N/APreferred experience: One year experienceOther experience requirements: N/AKnowledge/Skills Human anatomy Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage Radiation safety
