Get to Know Your Team:
UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities: Performs radiology procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital.
Qualifications: Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate‘s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited college.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
TMB Licensed within 60 days of hire.
ARRT Registered.
Preferred Job Requirements:
One-year experience.
Knowledge and ability to operate all radiology/imaging equipment and perform all radiology/imaging/therapeutic procedures.
