How You'll Contribute
Prepares equipment and supplies.
Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

What We're Looking For
Associate’s degree Preferred
Graduate of a Program in Radiological Technology
Current license American Associate of Radiologic Technologists.
Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), within 30 days
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Highpoint Health - Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas and Highpoint Health - Sewanee with Ascension Saint Thomas (formerly Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Winchester and Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Sewanee) serve the communities of Southern Middle Tennessee with comprehensive, high‑quality care. Highpoint Health - Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is a 157‑bed facility that includes 131 licensed acute care beds and 26 skilled nursing home beds. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services supported by a qualified and diverse medical staff. Key services include a 10‑bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a 12‑bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, and a 12‑bed Acute Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit. The facility also features a Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, five Operating Rooms, and two Endoscopy Suites. Diagnostic imaging services include MRI, CT, PET/CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and X‑ray. The hospital's 13‑bay Emergency Department sees more than 15,000 patient visits annually. Highpoint Health - Sewanee with Ascension Saint Thomas, located on the campus of the University of the South, is a 41‑bed facility offering 21 general acute care beds and 20 skilled nursing beds. It includes a 4‑bay Emergency Department that treats more than 5,000 patients each year.
