PATIENT INFORMATION
Average Daily Volume: 5 to 8 patients per day
Case Mix: 80% IR / 20% DX
FACILITY INFORMATION
EMR System: Epic
Specialty Backup Available: Other IR/DX physicians
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Biopsy
Drainage
Tube placement
Line placement
Nephrostomies
Biliary drainages
Arterial angiograms (if possible)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board Certified
Licenses: Active New York medical license
Certifications: ACLS required
Other Qualifications: EPIC training required; Experience with Phillips angio suites preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide interventional radiology coverage on-site, including biopsies, drainages, tube placements, line placements, nephrostomies, biliary drainages, and arterial angiograms.
Perform diagnostic radiology interpretation as needed (20% DX component).
Utilize imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound.
Work collaboratively with other IR/DX physicians and support staff.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
