Our challenge

We are looking for a hands-on React Developer with strong frontend expertise and solid Java backend experience. The ideal candidate will spend approximately 65% of their time on React development and 35% on Java/Spring Boot backend development.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC/ Pittsburgh PA is $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end application design, development, and deployment using Java and React.

Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices-based solutions.

Guide and mentor development teams through code reviews and technical best practices.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.

Drive sprint planning, estimation, technical solutioning, and release management.

Ensure application quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding standards.

Requirements:

Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript

Hands-on experience with Redux, React Hooks, Context API

Expertise in building responsive, reusable UI components

Experience integrating REST APIs

Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices

Solid SQL/database experience

Experience with Git, CI/CD, Agile methodologies

Excellent problem-solving and coding skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Material UI

Exposure to Kafka/Messaging Systems
