Job description
A well-established boutique law firm in Chicago's northwest suburbs is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a newer attorney looking to gain hands-on experience, work directly with clients, and receive mentorship from experienced attorneys in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The firm offers meaningful responsibility from day one, exposure to a variety of transactional matters, and long-term growth potential for attorneys who are eager to learn and develop their practice.

Responsibilities
Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions
Draft and review purchase agreements and related transactional documents
Conduct title and survey review
Handle real estate closings and lease matters
Communicate directly with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions
Conduct legal research and draft correspondence and legal documents
Support business, corporate, contract, and other related matters as needed
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Illinois
0-3 years of legal experience
Real estate experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Self-starter with a willingness to learn new practice areas
Professional, client-focused, and comfortable working in a small team environment
