Job description
Our client is a leading real estate investment platform who are seeking a Real Estate Counsel to support a broad range of real estate investment, development, financing, and operational activities. Reporting to senior legal leadership, this role will partner closely with executives and business teams across the organization on high-value transactions and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal guidance on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, developments, and financing matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents and agreements.
Advise internal stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and business risks.
Support investment, asset management, and operational teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient execution of business objectives.
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
7-10 years of commercial real estate legal experience.
Strong background in sophisticated real estate transactions.
Experience handling joint ventures, development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
About the opportunity:
Compensation Range: $300,000 - $400,000 base + Competitive Bonus ($500,000 - $600,000 total comp)
