Temporary Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
A leading Am Law 200 firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its team on a temporary/contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong commercial real estate experience who can step into the role and contribute with minimal training.
Responsibilities
Provide paralegal support on a variety of sophisticated commercial real estate matters.
Assist attorneys with real estate transactions from inception through closing.
Conduct and coordinate title and survey review, including identifying and addressing issues in title commitments, surveys, and related documentation.
Assist with UCC searches, filings, and related documentation.
Prepare, organize, and review transaction documents and closing materials.
Coordinate due diligence and assist with tracking transaction requirements and deadlines.
Assist with closings, including compiling and maintaining closing checklists and deliverables.
Communicate with clients, title companies, lenders, opposing counsel, and other third parties as needed.
Perform additional paralegal and transactional support as required.
Qualifications
Several years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
Strong experience with UCC matters and title/survey work is required.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to hit the ground running and work effectively with limited training.
Experience supporting sophisticated commercial real estate transactions is strongly preferred.
