Job description
Milk Tanker OperatorPerform all duties related to the pumping of incoming raw milk or cream from the tanker trucks into the proper storage tanks. Document and record volume into inventory with a heavy emphasis on quality of product being received.Shift hours: 2pm - 10:30pm Monday - FridayJob Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform CIP on each tanker and silo while maintaining proper documentation of each processGather samples of raw milk from tanker for testing of productWeigh tanker on scales. Check to ensure proper temperature of milk and record weight and temperature readingReport on any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediatelyMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentProduction or general work experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishAble to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsMust be able to effectively work in a team environmentAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAn Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
