Job description
ReceiverSavory Hospitality is seeking a Receiver to support our Operations and Kitchen teams. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and rotating food, beverage, and supply deliveries while maintaining clean, organized, and compliant storage areas. The Receiver will also support inventory tracking, sanitation, food safety, and communication around delivery or facility issues.Key responsibilities include:Receive, inspect, and properly store food, beverage, and supply deliveriesFollow FIFO practices and maintain temperature, receiving, and inventory logsEnsure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practicesWash and properly handle fresh produce as neededMaintain clean and organized receiving, storage, and restroom areasSafely handle chemicals and dispose of waste appropriatelyCommunicate delivery issues, inventory discrepancies, and maintenance concerns to managementSupport Operations and Kitchen teams with additional duties as neededWhat we're looking for includes:Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesStrong organization, time management, and attention to detailReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyTeam-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitudeAbility to follow procedures and maintain accurate recordsDOH Food Handler's Certificate preferredSchedule & physical requirements include:Monday through Friday, 1:00 AM–9:00 AMAbility to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperature conditionsAbility to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.Why join us:Competitive hourly rate of $23Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees after 30 daysFlexible Spending Account (FSA) and transit benefits401(k)Positive, growth-focused work environmentSavory is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable workplace where all individuals have equal opportunities.
