About the Team Receiving Associates are responsible for a variety of functions within the Receiving Department, including inventory receipt and staging to Quality and or storage area. Additionally, they perform critical administrative and operational tasks such as order processing in SAP and inventory auditing. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What you can look forward to as a Receiving Associate:Request and receive raw materials from suppliers - unload trucks, break apart skids of materials, stock shelvesEnsure lot traceability – scan and record bar codesMonitor security as it pertains to delivery driversEnsure proper labeling of lots and shipmentsPrepare Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs); monitor for accuracyStock shelves from bulk skids of materialsLoad skids of finished goods to exacting customer requirementsProcess significant amount of SAP transactions; create complete receiving and shipping transactionsMaintain finished goods inventory / temporary storage prior to shipmentReceive returnable containers and return them to inventoryReceive after hours Customer requests for shipping exceptionsUse customer's software ie. SAMRT, DDL, Honda Delta, etc.Perform other duties as assignedComply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and proceduresYour Profile as a Receiving Associate:High school diploma or equivalentMust have an active driver's licenseTwo or more years relevant experienceProficient with ensuring lot traceabilityPrevious (barcode) scanning experienceOperate tow motor and maintain required licensingGood organization skills with the ability to handle many things at once; good record keepingAbility to work with minimal or no supervisionGood basic math skillsCommunication and telephone skillsAble to work overtime as scheduledWhy you should choose ZF in Marshall, IL? The expected base compensation for this role is $18.00 - $22.76 hourly. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
